Big Fuss in the flower vase

BIG FUSS In The FLOWER VASE
Once upon a time...
On a silent night,
There was a flower vase hung up,
a laid lounge-chair,
A velvet sky,
a big round moon.

In the silent night of his balcony,
the poet was dreaming,
the moon was twinkling
and the silence was quite silent.

But suddenly, a scream,
big, big fuss and a jump !
It’s the poet who jumps, woken up ; what does he discover?
A poor little seed
very, very frightened,
who throws soil from the flower vase, all over the place.

Would BabySeed of Morning-Glory want to leave him ?
„Wait, wait, he cries,
Why are you throwing soil all over, BabySeed of Morning-Glory?”

„I’m scared of the dark,
Give me some light!”
he says,
Wriggling about extremely agitated!

Oh, you say some light, says the poet,
but where do you search for it,
you can see light right here!

The poet half-turned his head
And saw a wonderful Chinese lantern.
„ChineseLantern, you’re just in time!
Would you please light up BabySeed of Morning-Glory?
He’s so scared of the dark, he can’t fall asleep
without you lighting him up!”
But...ChineseLantern simply doesn’t want to light him up!

„I’m afraid of the silence!
I want to listen to some music!”
she says obstinately.

Now look at her! „She wants some music”!
but where do you search for it,
you can listen to music right here!

The poet half-turned his head
And saw some Japanese chimes.

JapaneseChimes, your sound is great!
Would you please chime for ChineseLantern,
so that she could light up BabySeed of Morning-Glory,
who would finally be at ease and fall asleep again
under his soil eiderdown?
But... JapaneseChimes simply don’t want to chime!

„It’s too hot, we can’t even move our tongues!
We want to be faned!”
they said very grumpy.

Do you want a fan?
You’re welcome!
You have one right here!

The poet half-turned his head
And saw a beautifully coloured fan.
Welcome to you, MisterFan!
Would you please fan the JapaneseChimes,
for they could chime for ChineseLantern,
so that she could light up BabySeed of Morning-Glory,
who would finally be at ease and fall asleep again
under his soil eiderdown?
But... MisterFan simply don’t want to fan them!

„I’m so terribly bored!
I want to see LadiesNasturtium dancing!”
he said with a capricious look.

To see the LadiesNasturtium dancing!
Just a moment,
And they are right here in front of you!

The poet half-turned his head
And saw some delicate nasturtium.
LadiesNasturtium, would you please dance for
MisterFan, who would fan
JapaneseChimes, for they could chime for
ChineseLantern, who would light up
BabySeed of Morning-Glory,
who would finally be at ease and fall asleep again
under his soil eiderdown?
But... LadiesNasturtium simply don’t want to dance!

„Oh, we’re so faded!
We want to take a shower!”
they found such a good excuse...

Do you want a refreshing shower?
Look, it’s right here!

The poet half-turned his head
And saw a watering can.
WetWetWater, would you please give a shower to
LadiesNasturtium, so that they could dance for
MisterFan, who would fan
JapaneseChimes, for they could chime for
ChineseLantern, who would light up
BabySeed of Morning-Glory,
who would finally be at ease and fall asleep again
under his soil eiderdown?

But... WetWetWater simply doesn’t want to shower them!
„I’m too thirsty!
I want to drink some fresh rain water!”
she said, very thirsty indeed.

Just a moment!
We have a tap right here!

The poet half-turned his head
And saw Miss RainCloud:
Welcome, my dear Miss RainCloud! Won’t you rain a little for
WetWetWater, who would shower
LadiesNasturtium, so that they could dance for
MisterFan, who would fan
JapaneseChimes, for they could chime for
ChineseLantern, who would light up
BabySeed of Morning-Glory,
who would finally be at ease and fall asleep again
under his soil eiderdown?
But... Dar Miss RainCloud simply doesn’t want to rain !

„I want to date Mister Tempest!
I need to see his glances, and hear his heart beating!”
She’s so madly in love...!

The poet half-turned his head
And saw Mister Tempest, whom he asked:
Mister Tempest, would you please date
Miss RainCloud, so that she could rain a little for
WetWetWater, who would shower
LadiesNasturtium, so that they could dance for
MisterFan, who would fan
JapaneseChimes, for they could chime for
ChineseLantern, who would light up
BabySeed of Morning-Glory,
who would finally be at ease and fall asleep again
under his soil eiderdown?

But... simply doesn’t want to show up !
„I want the rainbow to be our witness!”
he’s so hard to please!

But the poet is tired.
He doesn’t know where to turn his head again.

What should he do?

BabySeed of Morning-Glory will certainly jump from the flower vase, that’s for sure!

But suddenly the poet smiles : without having asked anything,

The BeautifulRainbow showed up in the sky,
Mister Tempest finally showed his glances and his heartbeating,
Miss RainCloud rained cheerfully,
WetWetWater drank and showered,
LadiesNasturtium danced, happy and refreshed,
MisterFan faned, very enthusiastic,
JapaneseChimes, pleased as well, chimed,
and ChineseLantern lighted up
BabySeed of Morning-Glory so joyfully,
that he would finally sleep in his flower vase,
and germinate
under his soil eiderdown.
As for the poet?
He laid in his lounge-chair and dreamt a dream...

The moon was twinkling in the sky
Not a noise, not a scream
Not a fuss, not a din.
Silence alone is reigning.

The next morning, all the neighbours wanted to know what has happened.
They have all meet in the parking. Plenty of questions, discussions, talks and debates:
Who was it? Who? Who? The poet?
That one, who lives at the balcony in bloom?
The neighbours all raised their heads. Then their hands, in order to peak bunches of
blue- pink- violet BabySeed of Morning-Glory.

And the poet was reciting his poetry in bloom.
